      The installation provides continuous melting of prepared scrap. The characteristic feature of this technique is transfer of heat to all surfaces of charge thus providing high energy density in solid body location.

      This technique of energy transfer provides higher ratio of production rate to transferred power unit as compared to other types of furnaces. It brings loss of metal to minimum and prevents formation of carbides, allows continuous charging, makes it possible running the heat without fluxes and liquid pool. Besides it allows decreasing of hydrogen percentage and obtaining of oxygen-free copper.
